Ph.D. student Mahfuzur Rahman was the first author on a recent paper in Nature Scientific Reports, with fellow Ph.D. student Usman Mahmood and associate professor Sergey Plis among the other authors. The paper introduced a deep learning framework for analyzing brain imaging data. According to Google Scholar, Nature Scientific Reports is ranked eighth among top journals in the Life Sciences & Earth Sciences category.
Ph.D. student Akshita Maradapu Vera Venkata Sai has been awarded a scholarship to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration in September.
