- Biography
Dr. Lipeng Wan is a tenure-track assistant professor of computer science at Georgia State University. Prior to joining GSU, he was a computer scientist in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Before becoming a full-time research staff member in 2018, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at ORNL for two years. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2016.
Dr. Wan's primary research interests include scientific data management and analytics, high-performance and data-intensive computing, and performance and resilience optimization for distributed systems.
